Bread and butter pudding

method:

  1. Pre heat your oven to 180 degree
  2. Brush your bread with melted butter on each side, and cut your bread into triangles, then place the bread into a baking tray.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the milk, the vanilla essence, the sugar, the cinnamon and the beaten egg
  4. Once you've got a smooth consistnecy, pour over the bread
  5. Now top with your raisins and leave to soak for 10 mins
  6. Finally place in the oven for 30 -40 mins until golden

Option - serve with some low calorie ice cream for the best pudding!

  • 15g unslated butter
  • 75g raisins
  • 400ml milk
  • 4 tbsp caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
