Crispy tofu salad

method:

  • Start by pouring your oil into a pan and leave the pan on a high heat for 2/3 mins
  • While the oil is heating up, pour your flour into a bowl, chop up your tofu and add into the bowl until all sides are covered in flour
  • Once the oil is boiling, drop the tofu, covered in flour, into the oil
  • Leave for 3/4 mins, making sure your dip each side into the oil to fry
  • Now drain or place on a towel to remove excess oil before serving up with your salad of choice

  • 100g tofu
  • 3 tbsp cornflour or plain flour
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Salad:

  • Lettuce
  • Cucumber
  • Beetroot
  • Pepper
  • Tomatoes
  • Sweetcorn
  • Avocado
  • Lime
