method:

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
  2. Mix together the flour and the butter until it looks like breadcrumbs
  3. Then add in the sugar, fruit, cinnamon, vanilla essence, and mixed spice and mix well
  4. Then mix in the beaten eggs and the milk
  5. Mix until you have a smooth consistency
  6. Line a baking tray with grease proof paper and pour in the mixture
  7. Bake for 1 hour
  8. Once baked, leave to cool and decorate with icing sugar
