Turkey and cranberry pastry slice

method:

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
  2. Now, add your turkey, chopped onion and parsley to a food processor / blender and blend together
  3. On a work surface, sprinkle some plain flour on the surface top and roll out your pastry into a rectangle
  4. Add the turkey mixture into the middle of the pasty in a long thin line
  5. On top of the turkey mixture add your cranberry sauce
  6. Now roll the pastry over and pinch the edges, making sure there are no gaps
  7. Brush the beaten egg over the pastry to add a golden finish
  8. Bake for 25 - 30 mins and then slice the pastry into 8

Serves 8, calorie information based on 1 slice

Option - Finish with gravy and roasted veg for a Christmas themed dinner or enjoy on its own
